Plissé
Plissé is made by treating a cotton fabric with sodium hydroxide to cause shrinkage. The process creates a puckered or crinkled striped effect. Acetate, rayon and other manufactured fabrics, that have been treated chemically or with heat, are sometimes called Plissé as well.
